You can design a new ad by following a few simple steps – providing information about your property, uploading photos, and entering rental rates. You can edit the ad as many times and as often as you wish. After you are satisfied, you send us an e-mail with "activate" in the subject line. The ad will be translated and activated. After your ad is activated you can always come back, log in, and make as many changes as you see fit. You can change the text, the photos, and the rental rates. You can also update the availability of your property.
1. You should provide as much information as you can by choosing property characteristics from the menus and entering free text. One of the advantages of advertising your property yourself is that you know your property better than anyone else and that you can communicate detailed information to renters.
2. Make sure you upload many (and nice) photos because photos have the most immediate and lasting effect on renters.
3. Give correct, detailed and up-to-date pricing information. Vacationers are more likely to consider your property if they know what your prices are. Remember that information is key. Providing more detail indicates that you are a serious property owner who is genuinely interested in offering a good service to vacationers.
4. Check out the competition. The ads that already appear on the website can provide valuable ideas. Also, they will provide information about how to price your property.
5. Be objective about pricing. In the end, renters seek the best value for the money so don’t price your property out of the market.
6. Make sure that your contact information is current. For example, make sure you check your e-mail regularly. If you don’t check it regularly, ask renters to call you instead.
You should provide the renter with the following information or items:
- directions to the property
- a key or the name and contact information (phone number and address) of the person who will welcome you to the property
- name and contact information of someone else that is on sight that you could contact if anything goes wrong
That depends upon your preferences or property. Especially in the high season it is advisable that you require a deposit so that you ensure that your property will indeed be occupied during the time specified. For instance you can require a deposit of 10% - 50% to confirm the reservation and expect a full payment 8 weeks prior to arrival.
You can provide the renter with your bank account number and receive your payment via a wire transfer. Paypal is another convenient option. We do not recommend that you rely on mail to receive cash or checks.
This will depend on your property type and where you are located. You can send a key and require renters to give it back (holding the security deposit until the key is received). In other instances it may be better to arrange for a local contact person. In an apart-hotel most likely the reception or management firm can assist you with key transfer and welcoming your new guests. Make sure you notify them ahead of time with arrival information of your guests. If you live near or on the property, be sure to ask about exact arrival information of your renters and provide your cell phone number in case of delays.
Your ad will be activated after we receive payment via PayPal or bank transfer. The prices are as follows:
45 euro for the 1st property for one year
35 euro for a 2nd property for one year
25 euro for a 3rd property for one year
15 euro for each additional property for one year

As soon as you create your ad, you can find the information for payment and activation of your offer by clicking the Activate button, which you will see in your account.
Your ad will be activated in English on RentByOwnerBg and in Bulgarian on BgVakancia as soon the payment and the e-mail with your information have been received.
