Description
Welcome to the „Аrtist's house” in the village of Dolen. The house has two floors, on the first floor there is a tavern with a fireplace, kitchenette and bathroom. On the second floor there are bedrooms and a bathroom. All rooms are furnished in Renaissance style with authentic restored furniture. The kitchen is equipped with modern facilities in order to satisfy the desires of every tourist. The Bathroom furnishing is unique. The house is newly built but has been in the same typical Renaissance style, and furniture. On the beautiful balcony with a fireplace, you can enjoy your pleasant company and the whispering of the river, which borders the house.
The yard is 400 square meters and offers enough place to gather large companies. There is one more fireplace build in the garden.
The Artist's house is given for self use, there is a local man who takes care of meeting the guests, and the house itself. With his help anyone can diversify his vacation with walking and hiking in the mountains.
The house is located in the historical cultural reserve "Dolen". The main attraction of the old village is the church of St Nicholas, built in 1834. Tthe church icons were painted by George Filipov, who later moved and lived in Gabrovo. Typical alpine village (1020 m altitude), located on the southwest part of te Rhodopes, 26 km from Gotse Delchev. Created by settlers saved from forced conversion to Islam during the sixteenth century, it was mentioned in the Turkish registers even in 1671 .

Comments: Мястото е супер. Такава красота, такова спокойствие и такава почивка е възможна единствено в село като Долен. А къщата е изключително подходящо място за такова преживяване. На външен вид е старинна, но не и липсват никакви удобства. Препоръчвам я на всеки.
